How does the route optimisation solution work?

Our route optimisation solution consists of 3 steps and can help your clients reduce their mileage by up to 20%, as well as reducing the number of vehicles required to complete scheduled deliveries for logistics companies.

  1. Benchmark existing journeys to establish a baseline
  2. Re-sequence the order jobs are done in to reduce distance travelled
  3. Fully optimise routes taking into account vehicle loads, traffic, delivery schedules and charging infrastructure

Route iQ is available as a fully white labelled solution with free training, or you can introduce clients to us.

What steps are involved in the EV transition planning?

Our EV transition planning service can be bundled with our route optimisation software or offered as a stand alone solution. It follows a clearly mapped out process:

  1. Assessment – a complete analysis of your client’s current fleet operations including mileage, time windows, customer needs, and driver constraints.
  2. Visualisation – map out the electrification of your client’s fleet. Explore scenarios with different EV types and charging infrastructure, and understand the operation, performance, and ROI of EVs for their fleet.
  3. Procurement – Overlay the new proposed electric or other vehicle types over current route operations to show where these vehicles can be deployed effectively to maximise ROI. This is used to create a prioritisation matrix for the procurement of new vehicles to ensure minimum operational disruption.
