About the MDVR-8
The highest spec camera in the range, MDVR-8 has the power to stream feeds from up to 8 cameras simultaneously through the iQ Platform. Videos can be archived for evidence with up to 1TB of storage capacity.
1 - 8 Channel Video
Perfect for buses and other larger vehicles where multiple angles are required, you can fit up to 8 cameras from which you can record and stream footage (tariff dependant) into the iQ Platform.
DVS Compliant Kits Available
Direct Vision Standard was introduced in 2019 to protect vulnerable road users and assist HGV drivers with full 360 degree visibility. Speak to us about how you can combine MDVR-8 with additional kit to make your fleet DVS compliant.
Expandable Memory
If you are adding more cameras to your MDVR-8 or simply want to extend the amount of storage held on the camera, expanding the MDVR-8 memory is easy with a range of memory options.
Integrated Telematics
For the first time, MDVR-8 combines telematics and video in one compact, behind dash device meaning there is no need for an externally linked telematics device.
Live Streaming
It is possible to stream live footage from MDVR-8 into the Matrix Dashboard. Suitable for high value goods transportation, loading and unloading or where an alarm has been raised, you can stream up to four cameras on MDVR-8 at any one time.
Audio Recording
An integrated microphone lets you listen to and record audio from inside the vehicle cab. Of course this feature is optional and can be remotely disabled but can provide crucial evidence and context to an event.
Video FNOL
In the event of a crash, MDVR-8 will automatically email crash footage to you. Video from the immediate build up and aftermath of a collision puts you in the picture to start taking remedial action and mitigate claim costs.
